Every day I visit new websites in search of new information about search engine optimisation, Social Media, Social Networking, website designing, etc. and every day I come across an assortment of website designs. Some designs good, some designs bad, but the main thing I’m looking for is the content. Content creation is the life of your website/blog, without it there’s not much use wasting money on hosting any longer. The website may look awful but as long as the content is there then that’s all search engines care for, besides, since when have search engines had eyes? They are robots, they can’t see anything, only read it.
Of course the website must be navigational else search engines won’t be able to find, but that is beside the point. Don’t spend lots of money on a design for your website to then never get found by other people, concentrate on getting your SEO campaign perfected first (or close enough.)

Ensure that all the content you create for your website is search engine friendly. For example, spellings must normally be correct, the odd spelling mistake has been proven to be affective, but people may get lost in the translation if they have to read posts such as: “i wos riting a blog post out the otha day nd no1 liked it”, because you’ll only look uneducated to the vast majority.
So remember, spend time perfecting your websites Search Engine Optimisation campaign first before you look into spending money on a better design for your website or to add new interactive features, because the money may end up going to waste which would be a shame as every website deserves a chance, no matter what the industry.
